Whether it's beachside fitness classes or sun-soaked panel discussions, the city of Cannes becomes a hive of activity and entertainment throughout the festival week.

Last year's fringe programme included immersive demos on the YouTube beach, performances and panel discussions at the Spotify House and much more.

Fringe Events Programme

It was the content programme that brought you to Cannes, but the Festival also boasts another impressive set of activities for you to enjoy. The official Fringe Events are an exploration of creativity in relaxed, informal settings around the city – in fact, part of the fun of the Festival is finding your favourite spaces, beyond the walls of the Palais.

The Google Beach

Plage du Gray d'Albion & Plage La Mome. 18 – 22 June

Join Google and YouTube, who are set to bring a full week of inspiring talks, immersive demos and seaside fun to the Croisette this year. Open to all Festival delegates, this is a chance to hear from the brightest minds from the biggest brands – on the beach, no less.


CBeach. 18 – 22 June

Enjoy Cannes as the French do – with beachside drinks, networking and inspiring talks. At this year’s French Camp Cannes, you can expect keynotes from partners to be offset by relaxing moments and reinvigorating DJ sets. Plus, games of the traditional French sport petanque for you to get involved in.

The Girls' Lounge @ Cannes Lions

Penthouse Suite # 731, Hotel Martinez. 18 – 21 June

Visit a space designed specifically for women to connect, collaborate and activate change together. The Girls' Lounge, powered by The Female Quotient, creates experiential pop-ups at global conferences, corporations and college campuses. The "destination-turned-movement" has become the largest community of business women rising up to transform workplace culture. Join them.

Le Jardin de Clear Channel

Grand Hotel. 18 – 21 June

Explore the Clear Channel Outdoor hospitality space, located in the beautiful gardens of the Grand Hotel. This is a place where you can experience creativity and innovation in Out of home or attend a topical thought leadership discussion. Or, if you prefer, simply enjoy a glass or rosé and talk to the Clear Channel Outdoor team. Make your way up to the hotel rooftop throughout the week, for a screen showcase of inspiring content, taking a look at the world’s oldest advertising medium.

The IPG Women's Breakfast

Hotel Martinez. 20 June

Attend the IPG Women's Breakfast, now in its seventh year and a cornerstone of the Festival. The event promotes visibility for women and commits to further progress in gender equality. This year, IPG will explore the power of images in media and continue the conversation on intersectional diversity.

Facebook Beach

18 - 21 June

Join Facebook on the beach to hear from brands and communities on the ideas that bring us closer together. The Facebook beach is open Monday through Thursday for activities and inspirational talks throughout the week.

The Twitter beach will be running Monday through Thursday. Daily Programming will include panels and daily happy hours.

Spotify Beach

50 Boulevard de la Croisette. 18 - 21 June

Drop by the Spotify Beach to see how people's real-life, everyday moments – big and small – are reflected and shared within the world of streaming. Explore how brands can become a part of the process of discovery. Culture lives on Spotify.

Pinterest @ Cannes

MM&M Campaign PR Week Cabana

Cabana Row, Palais Piazza. 18 – 22 June

Visit the Cabana adjacent to the Palais des Festivals, hosted by leading media brands MM&M, Campaign and PRWeek.
